Overview:If you are someone with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, are physically fit, and able to multitask, then this may be the job for you In this position, you will assist the flow within the Service and Sales departments. As a Lot Porter you will wash and detail motorcycles as well as move them in and around the dealership. You will assist the Technicians as needed and run errands in a company vehicle (such as refilling portable gas tanks, picking up parts from local suppliers, and other errands as assigned). You will work hard to ensure motorcycles and off-road vehicles on the showroom floor are well presented. You are a versatile individual with a positive attitude and willingness to assist other departments with any task required.

Qualifications:

• Valid G driver's license (M2 licence is an asset)
• Clean Driver's abstract
• Basic knowledge of motorcycles and off-road vehicles (makes and models)
• Ability to maneuver motorcycles and off-road vehicles
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Positive work attitude
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to maintain composure under stress
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Please note if selected as the successful candidate, your schedule will be determined based on our business hours as well as your individual availability. As a lot porter you are scheduled approximately 30 minutes prior to our opening time for regular duties. There may also be circumstances for business needs where you are scheduled outside of our regular business hours for various reasons (ex. special projects, meetings, inventory or Bike Shows). There is an opportunity to work more hours during peak periods (Spring/Summer) and/or during unexpected absences on the team.

• Whitby, ON L1N 6K9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

• How many years of Motorcycle or Dirt Bike riding experience do you have?
• This position requires pushing and maneuvering large motorcycles frequently and lifting up to 50lbs as well. Are you physically capable and comfortable doing that safely?
• What is your availability for work from Monday-Saturday (NOTE: We are closed on Sunday)?

• M2 or M licence (required)
• G2 or G licence (required)
