Position Overview

We're seeking a Retail & Design Associate who enjoys working with the public, thrives in a busy environment, and has a genuine interest in color, wallpaper and design. The ideal candidate has open availability, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service at the POS, including ringing through purchases
  • Assist customers with paint, color matching, and design recommendations
  • Tint paint accurately and efficiently
  • Restock shelves, maintain store appearance, and support daily operations
  • Perform lifting duties of up to 50 lbs
  • Once trained, take on the role of Primary Wallpaper & Window Coverings Specialist (this would include providing quotes, ordering wallpaper/window coverings, and in-store or offsite consulting)
  • Provide In-Home Color Consultation Services when required
  • Contribute positively to a supportive, tight-knit team environment

What We're Looking For

  • Open availability (shifts between 6:30am–6:00pm, Monday to Sunday)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with customers
  • Interest in color, décor, wallpaper and design (experience is an asset, not a requirement)
  • Reliability, initiative, and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented retail setting
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Comfort with physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required for off-site measurements and design consultations
