Job Description
Responsibilities:

  • Operate various vehicles (line haul trucks, pick-up and delivery vehicles, body job trucks) throughout Western and Northern Canada, adapting to different roles and locations as needed.
  • Maintain flexibility in work assignments, traveling to different terminals for 1-3 weeks at a time while keeping a home base in Lloydminster, AB.
  • Ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods, adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and performing vehicle inspections.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork and delivery receipts while communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers.
  • Use an ELD to maintain driver log information
  • Adapt to various terrains and weather conditions, including mountain driving when required.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of cargo, maintain a clean vehicle, and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Represent the company professionally, participate in ongoing training, and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules while complying with hours of service regulations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License with minimum 2 years of experience
  • Clean criminal record and driver's abstract with no major violations
  • Physical fitness to perform job-related tasks
  • Mountain driving qualification (training provided for the right candidate)
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules and travel for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to provide 2 professional work references
