We are seeking a reliable, physically capable, and customer-focused Appliance Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering household appliances to customers' homes or businesses, ensuring excellent service and professional installation support when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, etc.
  • Deliver appliances to customer homes and businesses following scheduled routes.
  • Install appliances when required (e.g., connecting washers and dryers, leveling refrigerators).
  • Handle appliances carefully to avoid damage to goods and property.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including answering basic product questions and maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Communicate with team members regarding delivery progress, delays, or issues.
  • Complete delivery paperwork, obtain signatures, and document any damages.
  • Ensure the delivery truck is well-maintained, clean, and meets safety standards.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's licence suitable for operating delivery trucks (Class 5) in Canada.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Experience delivering appliances, furniture, or other large items (asset).
  • Ability to lift 50–100 lbs repeatedly, often with a partner.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to use GPS and follow delivery routes efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of appliance installation (training will be provided).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Conditions

  • Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Indoor/outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Deliveries may involve stairs, tight spaces, and heavy appliances.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
