We are currently looking for full-time Security Guard for our Brampton location (Unit #2, 7965 Goreway Drive).

Reporting to the Operations Management team, the Security Personnel will be responsible for prevention of theft and property vandalism, controlling access to the production facility and restricted areas within, maintain order, enforce security policies, and monitor establishment activities within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Enforcing theft protocol at the building exit, to ensure all employees leaving the building are frisked and bags are checked to prevent theft of company material.
• Able to diffuse and manage situations as they arise.
• Patrolling assigned areas within the facility to ensure the security of employees, business property and equipment against theft and vandalism.
• Monitoring security surveillance systems (CCTV)
• Ensuring eCycle safety and emergency procedures are followed.
• Monitoring and tracking PPE inventory and reporting replenishment requirements to management
• May be involved in greeting and managing visitors/contractors to the site and dispatch as necessary.
• Other operational duties as assigned.
• May be assigned in other administrative tasks as assigned (sign in/out sheets, etc)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience with general security practices and procedures
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated pattern of good attendance and work record
• Valid Security License
• Willing to undergo a criminal record check clearance.
