Description:
Sun West School Division invites applications for a Journeyperson Electrician based out of the Sun West School Division Office, Rosetown, SK. This is a permanent position, 40 hours per week, starting on January 5, 2026.

Working under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for installation, repairs and maintenance on all Sun West School Division properties. HVAC, controls and telecom experience would be considered an asset. 

The successful applicant must have the ability to work independently, possess excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, have the demonstrated aptitude to problem solve and have the ability to work cooperatively with school-based staff, office personnel, contractors and the general public. The successful candidate must possess a high school diploma complemented with a Saskatchewan or Inter-provincial journeyperson license. 

Salary and benefits for this position will be in accordance with the current Collective Agreement of CUPE Local 4802.

Starting Wage: $38.48 per hour
