Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, recovery processes, and home exercise routines.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy techniques and medical terminology to provide evidence-based care.

Skills

• Proven experience in hospital settings, especially in acute care or pediatrics, is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices within a clinical environment.
• Excellent understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and healthcare documentation.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to assess complex physical conditions accurately and develop appropriate treatment plans.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
