Role Description

This is a contract position for a Private French Tutor, located on-site in Pointe-Claire, QC. The tutor will provide personalized, one-on-one French language instruction to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing customized lesson plans, aiding in grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills, tracking student progress, and adapting teaching strategies to fit individual learning styles. The Private French Tutor will work closely with students to foster their language development and build confidence in their French communication abilities. Compensation is 30$/h

Qualifications

• Proficiency in French language instruction, including grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills
• Experience creating tailored lesson plans and adapting teaching methods to individual student needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students of all ages
• Organizational skills for tracking progress and setting achievable learning milestones
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience
• Ability to motivate and inspire confidence in students
• Availability to conduct classes on-site in Pointe-Claire, QC
