Our client, a leading technology-driven organization, is seeking an accomplished Staff Software Engineer to guide the design, development, and delivery of high-performing, scalable application systems. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys mentoring others while driving innovation and best practices across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a high-performing engineering team throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex, multi-platform applications ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.
  • Champion engineering excellence by setting and enforcing coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
  • Identify and improve internal frameworks, developer tools, and automation processes to enhance overall efficiency and quality.
  • Provide architectural leadership — contribute to high-level design documentation and ensure alignment with evolving technology trends.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Java, Python, Go, or other modern object-oriented programming languages.
  • Strong background in application and data architecture, including design and performance optimization.
  • Proven expertise in AWS (preferred) or equivalent cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years leading full software development lifecycle projects.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments with modern CI/CD practices.
