We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Information Technology (IT) Technician to join our team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support, monitoring client environments, troubleshooting issues, and implementing IT solutions. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and onsite technical support to clients across desktops, servers, networks, and cloud systems.
  • Monitor and maintain client IT infrastructure through RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) tools.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Install, configure, and support Windows/Mac operating systems, Office 365, Google Workspace, and other business applications.
  • Assist with managing firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless networks.
  • Perform routine system maintenance including updates, backups, and patch management.
  • Respond to service tickets, track progress, and document resolutions in PSA (Professional Services Automation) systems.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors as required.
  • Participate in onboarding new clients, including system assessments and network documentation.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by building strong client relationships and ensuring satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of IT support or helpdesk experience (MSP background preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Familiarity with Open Directory authentication Platforms
  • Familiarity with networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs.
  • Experience with RMM and PSA tools (e.g. ConnectWise, Datto, N-able, Kaseya).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including antivirus, firewalls, and multi-factor authentication.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients/tickets simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar) are a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position; may require occasional after-hours or weekend work for scheduled maintenance.
  • Hybrid of remote support and onsite visits depending on client needs.
  • Must have reliable transportation for client site visits.
