Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Denturist and Dental Lab Manager to lead our newly established Denture & Dental Lab at Art of Smile Dentistry – Yonge and Eglinton. This is a unique opportunity for a highly capable professional to run their own lab operation within a thriving, fully equipped dental practice — without the burden of staffing, rent, or administrative overhead.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of denture and lab production, from impressions to final delivery, ensuring exceptional quality, precision, and patient satisfaction. This is a full-time, salaried position offering professional independence, stability, and the support of an experienced dental team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all denture and dental lab cases from start to finish, including design, fabrication, and adjustments.
  • Collaborate closely with dentists and clinical staff to ensure seamless integration of lab and clinical workflows.
  • Maintain quality control for all prosthetics, appliances, and restorations produced within the lab.
  • Utilize digital workflows, 3D printing, and scanning technology (training available if needed).
  • Oversee lab inventory, materials ordering, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sterilization standards.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve lab processes for efficiency and precision.
  • Provide technical support and insight for treatment planning and patient consultations as required.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Licensed Denturist in Ontario, or equivalent certification with eligibility to practice.
  • Hands-on experience in removable prosthetics, digital design, and/or dental laboratory operations.
  • Strong understanding of dental materials, lab workflows, and case management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with clinical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Comfortable working independently with a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
  • Digital or CAD/CAM experience (3Shape, Exocad, or similar) is an asset.
