Role Description

We are seeking a motivated
Business Advisor & Development Consultant
to join our growing network of advisors to support international entrepreneurs while helping expand our reach through business development and client acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Advisory & Business Planning

  • Work with assigned clients to review, evaluate, and refine their business plans in alignment with AAIP–FGES standards.
  • Provide structured feedback on business models, market research, operations, and financial projections.
  • Deliver professional coaching sessions and written feedback reports.
  • Collaborate with the Elite Startup Hub advisory panel to ensure business plan quality and compliance with program guidelines.

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and engage potential clients through outreach, partnerships, and networking.
  • Promote Elite Startup Hub's business planning and incubation services to entrepreneurs and other consultants.
  • Manage leads and conversion of interested clients into paid participants in the FGES business advisory program.
  • Maintain accurate records of new client referrals and engagement outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in
    Business, Marketing, Economics, or Entrepreneurship
    (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in
    business advisory, consulting, or business development
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    startup ecosystems and small business operations in
    Canada.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
