Position Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Estimator to join our dynamic team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing tenders, analyzing plans, specifications, and addenda, and preparing accurate project cost and schedule estimates.

Working closely with the Director of Estimating and the Sales Team, the Estimator will play a key role in preparing bids and achieving the company's business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all assigned tenders.
  • Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and addenda.
  • Estimate overall project costs and required time.
  • Prepare and submit all tender documents, ensuring compliance and meeting prescribed deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Estimating to close bids and meet the company's sales targets.
  • Support the sales team with client requests and revisions.
  • Analyze specifications and documents to propose cost-effective and profitable project alternatives.

Profile

  • College diploma in Estimating, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an estimating role.
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Measure Square software is an asset.
  • Familiarity with the BSDQ and SEAO submission processes is an asset.
  • Ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and team spirit.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in French required – English is an asset (offices outside Quebec).
