What You'll Do

As our Senior Graphic Designer - Branding Specialist, you will:

• Lead and execute high-quality branding, identity design, and social media content creation.
• Manage multiple projects with high attention to detail in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Create inspiring, innovative content, adapting ideas to client briefs from concept to completion.
• Work closely with a full creative team to influence clients with creative input and pitch new ideas.
• Stay on the cutting edge of industry trends to deliver top-tier creative solutions.
• Design across various platforms, including print, digital, and social media.
• Handle pre-press and print production with confidence.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in working in an agency, creative studio, or similar environment.

Skills:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat).
• Additional skills in After Effects, motion graphics, video editing, or 3D mock-ups are a plus.
• Strong typography, layout, and technical design skills.
• Knowledge of web platforms (e.g., WordPress) and tools like Microsoft Office, Planner, and Teams.

Portfolio:

• A well-rounded portfolio showcasing brand design, systems, typography, layouts, and social media content.

Traits:

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Eagerness to adapt to rapid changes and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Other Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Arts or Design.
• Permanent Canadian citizenship.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday, 9–5, in-office in Calgary, AB.
• No freelancer, this is a full time position in office.
