What you'll be doing

Dorje Denma Ling

Wake with the birds. Chop vegetables. Clean with care. Stir a pot. Stack wood. Listen to the wind in the trees.

Volunteering at Dorje Denma Ling is a way to serve, settle, and practice. Whether in the kitchen, garden, shrine room, or office, the work is real and so is the space it opens up. If you are residential, you'll receive room and board, daily meals, program credit, and time for personal practice within a living dharma environment. For those working remotely we offer program credit for online classes and in person retreats.

We offer remote and residential opportunities and are in need of talented individuals in these areas-- and we also want to hear what your passion is

• Kitchen
• Housekeeping
• Retreat setup
• Construction/Carpentry
• Skilled trades (plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• General labour
• Lumberjack/ chainsaw (trail building)
• Painting
• Garden (weeding, planting, etc.)
• Office/ administration/ Guest services
• Tech (zoom hosting, AV, etc.)
• Volunteer coordination (longer term)
• Retreat Coordination (let us know below which retreat)
