As a Lot Attendant at Toronto Kia, you will be responsible for the efficient management and upkeep of the dealership's vehicle lots. Your duties will include organizing the lots, and ensuring vehicles are properly displayed. You will also support the sales and service teams by performing general lot maintenance, daily vehicle inventory, and monthly inventory audits.

Other duties as required: (including assisting with snow removal in winter).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Organization & Maintenance: Ensure vehicles are parked in an organized, clean, and accessible manner. Regularly inspect vehicles on the lot for cleanliness, damage, or other issues.
  • Vehicle Delivery/Movement: Transport vehicles between various locations on the dealership lot (e.g., from service area to sales lot or vice versa).
  • Customer Assistance: Assist customers with locating vehicles and provide basic vehicle information or refer to sales staff when necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate vehicle count. Report any missing or damaged vehicles.
  • Lot Cleanliness: Keep the dealership lot and surrounding areas clean and well-maintained, including washing vehicles when necessary.
  • Support Sales and Service: Assist the sales team in preparing vehicles for display or test drives and work with service personnel to move vehicles to and from the service department.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols while driving and moving vehicles around the lot. Ensure that all vehicles are parked in a way that minimizes risks.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform any other tasks as required by the dealership management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, or drive for long periods.
  • Capable of working in various weather conditions.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily outdoors, with occasional indoor tasks as required.
