Client Details:
Our client is a firm owned by Berkshire Hathway, with more than 120 operations and approximately 20,000 employees worldwide is the market leader in manufacturing large, complex structural investment castings, airfoil castings, forged components, aerostructures and highly engineered, critical fasteners for aerospace applications. In addition, they are the leading producer of airfoil castings for the industrial gas turbine market and also manufacture extruded seamless pipe, fittings, and forgings for power generation and oil & gas applications; commercial and military airframe aerostructures; and metal alloys and other materials for the casting and forging industries.
Role Summary:
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for producing and analyzing financial information critical to business interests as well as creating and presenting reports to management regarding Financial and accounting data to enable knowledge-based decision making and forecasts. The Financial Analyst will also ensure the timely and accurate processing of any and all necessary documents.
Key Job Responsibilities:Own the preparation of monthly departmental, regional, operational, and revenue reporting cycles, ensuring that reports are accurate and delivered in a timely manner; Preparation of key financial reports and statementsPreparation of month-end full-cost absorption calculation, which is forecasted on weekly basis;Analysis of RM, WIP, FG and calculation of excess and obsolete reserve in accordance with Division policy;Reporting and analysis on operational activities, labour efficiency and productivity analysis, analysis of variances to budget and forecast and journal entriesProvide project managers with spending on capital projects, capital projections and capital budgetsBalance sheet analysis, reconciliations using ARC EPM CloudInteract with external and internal auditorsSOX audit preparationMonthly statistical updates into Hyperion EPM cloudClosely work with Operations personnel to pro-actively evaluate manufacturing performance and provide meaningful recommendations for improvementsPreparation of monthly MOR and quarterly FQR schedulesWork on special projects, implementations and report preparation as requestedProvide assistance with A/R and A/P duties as requiredLocation:

Requirements:Bachelor's Degree related to business, such as Business AdministrationPursuing an accounting designation (i.e. CPA, CMA/CGA) would be preferredA minimum of 3+ years' experience in an intermediate Finance/Accounting role, in a manufacturing environment with an advanced ERP system PreferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsHands on experience in a fully integrated ERP operating systemSolid Accounting skills, GAAP, US GAAP knowledgeAbility to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statement and projectionsEffective organizational skills with the ability to manage a large number of tasks and responsibilitiesDemonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and growing environmentEffective, clear, and precise communication skillsSuperior problem-solving skills
