Richmond Christian School is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Educational Assistant to join us in a full-time position supporting students 2 days a week primarily in Kindergarten for the school year.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment towards Christian Education and an ability to anticipate the needs of a diverse group of learners. The ideal candidate also demonstrates a foundational knowledge in working within the Positive Behaviour Support framework and the ability to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD About the Position   The Educational Assistant (EA) will work to support students, under the direction of the classroom teacher, both class wide as well as in small groups or one-to-one.  The EA should have strong collaboration and communication skills in order to work best with classroom teachers and should show flexibility to best meet student needs.  This role is an on-site position located at our Elementary Campus located at 5240 Woodwards Road, Richmond.
Please note that the compensation range indicated reflects the salary of an EA working the full school year   Qualifications & Requirements 
Education & Experience
  • Current certification from an accredited Educational Assistant Program or related certification such as Behaviour Interventionist. 
  • Evidence of course work or experience with exceptional and unique learners
