Job DescriptionJob Description: We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our Emergency Department team. The physician will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population with a broad spectrum of acute and emergent conditions.
Compensation: As of April 1, 2025 this position will be compensated as follows:
Daytime $219.51
Nighttime $229.28
- College of Family Physicians of Canada Emergency Medicine certification would be considered an asset
- all applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- all family physicians must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support(ACLS)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
No formal ED certification needed, but a FM physician should have experience to work in a community ED
