Serenity Transfer Service Ltd. (STSL) is seeking a Body Removal Attendant in Nanaimo. This position is casual/on-call.

Body removal attendants respectfully perform scene and hospital-to-hospital transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport and handle deceased individuals with dignity and respect.
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  • Follow established protocols for body removal processes.
  • Collaborate with team members and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
  • Maintain a valid Class 5 license for transportation duties as required.
  • Have the ability to respond to calls with urgency and be available for short notice work.
  • Be able to lift 150lbs.
  • Be available to respond to a call with a moments notice while on shift.
  • Be willing to drive long distances and in variable conditions.

This job is an excellent way to build experience in the medical/forensic field, as well as funeral industries, and emergency services. STSL requires that any interested parties understand the need to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism as the nature of our work is extremely sensitive.
