Job Summary

We are seeking Shift Managers to join our dynamic Wendy's team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fast food operations, demonstrating exceptional leadership and management skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service, and effectively managing staff to create a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the fast food establishment, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  • Train, develop, and supervise staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service protocols.
  • Handle cash management and ensure accurate processing of transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
  • Implement food safety standards and maintain compliance with health regulations.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members to build a strong workforce.
  • Monitor performance metrics and assist in budgeting to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale among staff.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.

Skills

  • Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management.
  • Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial management within a restaurant setting.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and training & development.
  • Background in hospitality management or fine dining experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of kitchen management practices and culinary experience is essential.
  • Ability to manage shifts effectively while ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers alike.
