Position Overview:

CFT Recycling is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Tire Sorters/Inspectors to join our high-performance team. This hands-on role involves inspecting, sorting, and organizing used tires based on condition and type. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tire categories — such as summer, winter, all-season, MT, and PT tires etc — and the ability to identify damaged, flat, or unsuitable tires.

The wage for this position is $28.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and sort incoming tires by type, size, and condition (e.g., snow, summer, MT, PT).
• Identify and separate damaged, flat, or unusable tires from those in good condition.
• Load and organize tires into trailers safely and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Report any safety or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience working with tires or in a recycling/warehouse environment preferred.
• Knowledge of tire types, tread patterns, and wear indicators.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50+ lbs and working outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
