Job Description SummaryThe Material Handling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily execution of material handling activities to ensure safe, accurate, and timely movement of materials across the operation. In this role you will serve as a key operational link between Material Handlers, Team Leads, and cross-functional partners by providing work coordination, status tracking, and issue escalation. You will support service level attainment, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, and may provide operational coordination support across multiple locations to ensure continuity of operations.Job DescriptionDuties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day material handling activities, including receiving, put away, staging, internal deliveries, and inter-site transfer

  • Verify documentation, labeling, and handling requirements for regulated, temperature-sensitive, and GMP-controlled materials

  • Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and quality standards across supported locations

  • Promote a safe and organized work environment by reinforcing safety procedures, housekeeping, and proper equipment use

  • Communicate priorities, changes, and operational issues clearly to Material Handlers and cross-functional partners and support material handling operations across multiple locations as required, including temporary coverage, workload balancing, and coordination during peak periods or staffing gaps
     

Knowledge and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or material handling operations

  • Working knowledge of inventory control and material handling processes and experience using warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent)

  • Ability to support operations across multiple locations, with flexibility to work at different sites as business needs require

  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

$58, $79,100.00

STEMCELL determines an individual's pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
