  1. Job Duties

  2. Load, unload, and transport construction materials

  3. Assist skilled trades workers with steel framing, wood framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry

  4. Perform routine site maintenance and housekeeping

  5. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

  6. Perform basic cutting tasks as required (using hand or power tools, under supervision)

  7. Operate equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers (if certified)

  8. Direct traffic at or near construction sites when required

  9. Follow company safety policies and procedures

  10. Experience

  11. Minimum 5 years of construction experience required

  12. Previous work on large job sites considered an asset

  13. Experience in steel framing, wood framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry considered an asset

  14. Proficiency in using common hand tools required

  15. Mandatory Training & Certifications

  16. WHMIS

  17. Fall Protection

  18. Experience and certification in boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers considered an asset

  19. Language

  20. English required

  21. Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) considered an asset

  22. Required PPE – Own Equipment

  23. Steel-toed safety boots – minimum 6-inch height

  24. Hard hat Type 2 – protection against lateral, front, and rear impacts/penetration; must include chin strap; color: yellow

  25. Gloves – suitable for construction tasks

  26. High-visibility vest, Class 2

  27. Work Site Requirements

  28. Work environment: outdoors, at heights, noisy and dusty conditions

  29. Exposure to hot and cold weather, hazardous work areas

  30. Physically demanding tasks and repetitive work

  31. Handle heavy loads (up to 45 kg / 100 lbs)

  32. Ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail

  33. Urban construction site

  34. Employment Details

  35. Full-time, Fixed-term contract (12 months)

  36. Expected hours: 48 per week

  37. Pay: From $25.00 per hour

  38. Benefits: On-site parking
