Steel-Craft Door Products Ltd. in Edmonton, AB is looking for a skilled and reliable Overhead Door Installer/Overhead Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience installing, servicing, and repairing a variety of overhead door systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and repair overhead doors and door hardware, including torsion, track, rollers, openers, etc.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with door systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service on site.
  • Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Complete work orders, inspection reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of direct experience in overhead door installation and repair.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of electrical components.
  • Comfortable working at heights and with power tools.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Driver's abstract required.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
