Position Summary:
Reporting to the HOD, Manager PIC, the Process Engineer will assist in overseeing and assessing our existing processes and workflow. The Process Engineer will help identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational performance.
Key Accountabilities:
Process Improvement & Project Coordination:
- Identify areas of improvement in logistics, supply chain processes, and internal workflows.
- Implement strategies to drive continuous improvement and streamline operations.
- Develop and maintain detailed SOPs and instruction sheets for new projects and process updates.
- Assist with post-project evaluation to ensure solutions drive sustained improvements.
- Support the team in researching problems, structuring project plans, and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with various departments to collect data and align goals for successful project execution.
Data Analysis & Research:
- Use SQL and Excel to analyze quantitative data and uncover insights for decision-making.
- Gather and interpret qualitative data (surveys, interviews, process reviews) to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
Presentation & Communication:
- Create polished and visually compelling presentations using PowerPoint to communicate findings, strategies, and project progress to leadership.
- Provide clear and concise updates to stakeholders.
Required Competencies:
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills - you're resourceful, adaptable, and proactive.
- Technical Proficiency: Beginner to intermediate experience with SQL (data analysis), Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must have MS Visio experience.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
