Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Mat Manufacturing Labourer to join our production team. This role involves the hands-on fabrication, assembly, and finishing of access mats used in industrial, construction, forestry, and energy applications. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced shop environment.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assist in the manufacturing and assembly of wooden access mats.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure, cut, drill, and fasten materials according to specifications.
• Perform quality checks to ensure mats meet company standards.
• Load and unload materials, move finished mats, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
• Support the production team with additional tasks as required.

Knowledge, Education, Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, construction, or labour experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work in varying shop or yard conditions.
