About the role:
The Cardiac Echo Sonographer is responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), stress echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and clinical judgment to ensure the acquisition of high-quality diagnostic images and assessments. The sonographer will also be responsible for image analysis, preliminary report writing, and collaboration with cardiologists and other members of the healthcare team to support accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care in a busy fast paced high acuity environment.

What you'll bring:
- Experienced in transesophageal/stress dobutamine echo is an asset
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Minimum five (5) years of current related experience preferred
- IV certification and experience with IV insertion preferred.
- Ability to think critically and write accurate preliminary reports
- Weekend and on-call responsibilities.
- Experience in Contrast echocardiography.
- Pa ediatric echo certification is an asset
