Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that safety is the top priority in all activities.
  • Cleaning of fleet trucks and trailers inside and out
  • Verifying returning truck inventory to paperwork per instructions
  • Parts run to and from town
  • Assisting Shop Mechanics with repairs and maintenance
  • Assisting Shop Mechanics with moving vehicles in and out of the shop
  • Moving vehicles in and around the yard
  • General labour responsibilities as required
  • Assist with shop duties and maintenance activities as needed.

Experience and Skills:

  • 1 year shop / laborer related experience, preferred
  • First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO
  • Class 5 drivers' license with clean abstract
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Loader and Skid steer Tickets, considered be an asset

Working Conditions:

  • Must live near base of employment or be willing to relocate
  • Participation in Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening and Health Assessment
  • Outdoor environment including extreme Weather Conditions
  • Extreme driving conditions (snow, ice, mud, off-road)
  • Exposure to noise, vibration, chemicals, fumes & gases, dust and high pressure lines
  • Bending and heavy lifting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.95-$33.31 per hour
