Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Tanning Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting tanning services and products that best meet their needs. Your passion for cleaning, beauty and wellness, combined with your sales skills, will help create a welcoming environment for our clients.

We are looking for a long-term, customer focused, dedicated person that is looking for a part-time position in a fun environment with amazing perks Must be available to work evenings & Saturdays; this is non-negotiable.

Duties

  • Greet and assist clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of various tanning services and products, including sunless tanning options.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tanning equipment and salon areas to ensure a safe environment for clients.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, promoting retail products to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their tanning goals and preferences.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to offer informed recommendations to clients.
  • Opening and closing the salon with the ability to work alone
  • Custom spray tanning clients

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong sales skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
  • Knowledge of retail sales practices and techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for the beauty industry and helping others achieve their desired look is essential.

Physical Requirements

· Strength Guidelines: This position is physically demanding for cleaning. Will be required to move lotion orders when delivered (up to 20 lbs).

· Motion Parameters: A retail Sales Associate may be required to stand for a full shift. Other common parameters would be cleaning, squatting, kneeling, sitting at the computer and bending.
