Job Summary:

Shifts: Store Hours

Mon to Fri 10am-7pm

Sat 10am-5pm

Sun 12pm-4pm

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service with a friendly outgoing demeanour and knowledge based conversations, driving sales, and maintaining a positive shopping experience for our valued customers. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in promoting our products, assisting customers with their pet health needs, and ensuring the store's overall success.

Duties:

  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs
  • Recommend products based on customer preferences and needs
  • Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Assist in inventory management and restocking shelves
  • Engage with customers to build long-lasting relationships
  • Utilize effective upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions with precision and integrity

Experience:

  • Proven experience in retail sales or customer service
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
  • Organizational abilities to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic technical sales knowledge
  • Experience in cash handling procedures with attention to detail
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service at all times
