Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the food industry and dedicated to creating a positive experience for every guest. Prior experience in food service or as a barista is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates. The position involves working in a fast-paced setting where excellent time management and multitasking skills are essential.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to company standards.
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
  • Handle food safety and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Provide friendly customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer needs promptly.
  • Manage cashiering responsibilities, including basic math for transactions and giving correct change.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients or packaging items as needed.
  • Ensure efficient service by managing time effectively during busy periods.
  • Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and equipment use.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to serve guests efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
