Summary

'We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hardscape Supervisor to lead one of our landscape construction teams in and around Calgary. This role is vital in ensuring the successful execution of our projects, aligning with our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction vital to our continued growth and recognition as leaders in residential landscape construction.

Responsibilities

' Supervise, coordinate and participate with all aspects of hardscape construction projects, including decks, patios, retaining walls, water features, landscape lighting and associated products and teams. This is a hands on role.

• Read blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Manage on-site safety and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Oversee and participate in the work of crew members, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout each project.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project success.'
• oversee cost controls such as material usage, staff, payroll, equipment maintenace, purchases.
• Qualifications

' Proven experience in landscape construction supervision or a similar role with ICPI and Segmented Wall Certification.

• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, masonry, concrete finishing, carpentry, and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to read schematics and construction plans.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated bility to communicate and interact with internal and external management, trades and teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites.
• Knowledge of building codes
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and operate machinery.'

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

• Foothills, AB: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

Experience:

• Hardscape supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• ICPI and or Segmented Wall Certification (preferred)
