We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The Kitchen Helper plays a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Duties

  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Help cooks with cooking tasks as needed, ensuring that all food items are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
  • Stock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure the kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support the team during busy service periods by providing assistance wherever necessary.

Skills

  • Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
  • Experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
