Position Overview

Anytime Fitness Maples is seeking a reliable, motivated, and personable Part-Time Fitness Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both behind-the-scenes work and interacting with people in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

This position is approximately 8–15 hours per week and consists of a balanced mix of facility cleaning/maintenance and administrative/member service responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking.

Schedule & Availability

  • 8–15 hours per week
  • Rotating schedule
  • Availability required: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays

Shift times include:

  • Monday, Wednesday & Friday:

11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

  • Saturday:

11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Facility Cleaning & Maintenanc

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entire gym, including workout areas, locker rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces
  • Sanitize equipment and high-touch surfaces regularly
  • Ensure the club remains safe, professional, and welcoming at all times
  • Restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance needs

Administrative & Member Services

  • Greet members and guests, providing a friendly and welcoming experience
  • Sign up new members and assist with membership changes
  • Give tours to prospective members and answer questions about the club
  • Support promotions, sales campaigns, and in-club signage updates
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage front desk tasks
  • Assist with general administrative duties and day-to-day operations

Member Engagement & Support

  • Build positive relationships with members
  • Encourage participation in gym events, challenges, and promotions
  • Help create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating gym culture

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, sales, or facility cleaning is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively
  • Basic computer skills (email, scheduling, point-of-sale systems)
  • Interest in health and fitness is strongly preferred
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
