Our store is looking for friendly and highly motivated individuals to join our team of Retail Sales Associates. The ideal candidate for this position will value teamwork, appreciate a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task effectively and efficiently. We are looking for retail professionals who are talented communicators and enjoy working with customers to promote our products. We are seeking candidates who are interested in a long-term career at our company, who enjoy working with others and who value both the products we sell and the customers we serve.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming environment for customers in the store.
  • Be cordial and kind to customers.
  • Accept and process returns.
  • Hang new product lines on shelves.
  • Move merchandise around the store.
  • Monitor the flow of customers and employees so the store is not too crowded or messy.
  • Provide customers with customer service.
  • Behave ethically and honestly.
  • Answer any questions customers have about products and prices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • sales: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • Fluent English (required)
  • French (preferred)
  • Chinese (preferred)
