Heidi the Tutor was founded in 2019 and is locally owned and operated in Calgary, Alberta. They provide private tutoring services for children from grade 1 to 12, in math, science, English language-arts and social studies. Sessions are offered online as well as in-person.

Looking for tutors for the following courses: Math (up to grade 12 calculus), Physics (up to grade 12), Biology (up to grade 12), Chemistry (up to grade 12), Statistics (university level)

The ideal candidate could tutor only math, only science, or both math and science. Tutoring sessions will be one-on-one sessions between a tutor and a student. This is a hybrid position, where some sessions will be online while others will be in-person at the student's home or at a library. Applicants must be willing to travel and have their own means of transportion.

Experience is not necessary but preferred. Applicants must submit their high school transcript and their university transcript along with a resume.

This is a part-time position and you may choose how many hours you want to tutor. You may work as little as 1 hour per week or as many as 20 hours per week. You will be assigned to students and provide tutoring services in your choice of subject. Training will be provided along with resources to conduct the lessons.

Some of the qualities we look for include: excellent communication skills (written and verbal), professional and enjoyable to work with, punctual, hold themselves to a high level of accountability and have an excellent academic track record.
