Work right in downtown Tofino where your job overlooks the waterfront harbour. Be part of a team creating fun, adventurous sea kayak day tour experiences for our guests. As well the business has a retail store, small coffeeshop and five room Inn.

We are seeking someone who likes working in a variety of positions in a dynamic and busy environment. The position is multi-facetted requiring the ability to work all parts of the business which include the booking centre, coffeeshop, retail store and housekeeping. A attitude of professionalism, teamwork and flexibility in the business is essential. Enjoy creating great experience for our guests that are positive and helpful.

A suitable person for this position enjoys working with the general public, use a variety of administrative skills and has a willing to help out where needed. A person who enjoys being part of creating a great season and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience.

Duties include:

Taking Booking for tours and the Inn

Work with online bookings platforms

Working with POS system and cash management.

Working with computer spreadsheets

Retail sales

Barista skills an asset

Maintain store stocks and supplies

Doing assigned tasks and duties

Skills required:

Organization abilities

Communication Skills.

Attention to detail

Problem Solving

Dealing with problems

Prior experience with bookings, coffeeshops and working with public is helpful. Education in Tourism Management or Business Administration an asset. As this is an outdoor business a personal interest in the area, kayaking or general outdoor activities are beneficial.

We are looking for people who are available through the season until mid-october but there is possibility of going longer with focus on retail, administration and coffeeshop once the kayaking ends.

Housing is available for full-time staff.
