ServiceNow Developer - SIR & VM

Following rapid expansion of new name clients into the Fujitsu SaaS ServiceNow practice, we are seeking a ServiceNow Developer with a proven record of successful 

ServiceNow engagements relating to implementation and support of the Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules.

 

Role and Accountabilities:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in the Security Operations (SecOps) suite, particularly Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hands-on development, customization, and integration of SecOps modules to enhance our organization's cybersecurity capabilities. This role requires hands-on expertise in ServiceNow configuration, scripting, and integration, with a deep understanding of security processes and tools.

Candidates will be experienced in leading ServiceNow engagements end to end. In addition, the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:


•    Configure, develop, and support ServiceNow modules, including:

•    Design, develop, and configure solutions within the Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules in ServiceNow.

•    Build and maintain scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Client Scripts) using JavaScript and Glide APIs.

•    Integrate ServiceNow with external security tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Splunk, CrowdStrike, etc.).

•    Automate SecOps workflows and create orchestration playbooks to improve incident and vulnerability handling.

•    Work closely with security, infrastructure, and ServiceNow teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SecOps modules and integrations.

•    Maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides and development standards.

•    Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.

•    Participate in user training and provide post-implementation support.

 

Skills and Experience Requirements:

•    5–7 years of ServiceNow development experience, including 2–3 years with SecOps modules (SIR and VR).

•    Proficient in ServiceNow development including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), UI customization, and REST/SOAP integrations.

•    Strong understanding of security operations, incident response processes, and vulnerability management.

•    Experience with third-party tool integrations relevant to security operations.

•    Familiarity with CMDB, ITSM, and ITIL best practices.

•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•    Ability to work in agile development environment.

•    Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.

•    Ability to work in agile and fast-paced environments.

•    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

•    Excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

Skills and Certifications

•    ServiceNow certifications - Service Now System Administrator CSA. 

•    Certified Implementation Specialist – Security Incident Response (SIR)

•    Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response (VR)

•    ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

•    ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation Certification

•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•    Strong presentation development and Customer Presentation skills.

•    Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities.
