About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating building conditions, analyzing findings, and developing strategies that improve building performance and longevity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive
    Building Condition Assessments (BCA)
    for a variety of property types.
  • Analyze site investigation findings and prepare detailed
    BCA/FCA reports
    .
  • Develop
    financial studies and life-cycle costing
    models for building systems.
  • Apply knowledge of building maintenance and repair strategies, emphasizing
    collaborative problem-solving
    and
    life-cycle cost analysis
    .
  • Perform
    quality control inspections
    for building envelope repairs and assist in developing repair plans and specifications (experience in this area is considered an asset).
  • Coordinate effectively with other
    engineering and architectural disciplines
    to ensure integrated project delivery.

Your Profile

  • Completion of a
    post-secondary program
    in Applied Science, Architecture, or Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • 3–5 years of experience
    in a similar role within building science or related fields.
  • Exceptional
    communication and organizational skills
    , including proficiency in technical writing.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize
    multiple projects simultaneously
    .
  • Strong working knowledge of
    Microsoft Word and Excel
    .
  • Proven
    project management skills
    with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • A valid
    driver's license G Class
    , access to a personal vehicle, and willingness to
    travel throughout Ontario
    as required.
