MMS is your premier Mobile Heavy Equipment and Repair provider. We operate in Northwestern Ontario. Specializing in Mining, Construction and Forestry.
Role Description
- This position involves a 2-on, 2-off rotation to fulfill the role of Heavy Equipment Technician for (MMS). Overall responsibilities include but are not limited to - Diagnosing and repairing equipment deficiencies. Performing preventative maintenance. Communicating with the customer to coordinate maintenance priorities. Maintaining and completing service reports - While promoting safety awareness by ensuring compliance of safety policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician and/or a similar role.
- Red Seal Certificate (Heavy Equipment or Truck and Coach)
- Underground Common Core Certificate
- Ability to troubleshoot, and diagnose mechanical issues
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Physical strength, and stamina to lift heavy parts and equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening mandatory
- Pre-employment background check
Compensation
- Travel allowance included
- Willing to take on an independent contractor or employee
- Pension with matching for employee's
