The Old York Tavern is seeking a reliable, hard-working and motivated Part-Time Dishwasher to join our team.

We are a neighbourhood tavern with French and American brasserie influence.

We are open 7 days a week for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation

-Cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen tools, ensuring that they are available for kitchen staff and servers

  • Collaborate with kitchen staff

  • Communicate effectively with the team to address any issues or shortages

  • Contribute to a positive, energetic atmosphere within the kitchen

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
