We are looking for a Principal Product Manager Tech to drive the roadmap of our "better than broadcast" low latency solution, Sye, as we expand across new regions, devices and events. In this role, you will work with the Sye team and all the Amazon partner teams to shape the future and vision of the customer viewing experience for live events.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the development of detailed product requirements documents.

• Partner with key stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, roadmap and supporting metrics required to deliver and enhance a best-in-class digital video customer experience.

• Drive projects, products, and feature launches with other teams both inside and outside of the Prime Video team including: business development, content acquisition, legal, marketing, finance, customer service, and operations.

• Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and project management teams to deliver on the product roadmap.

• Develop a deep understanding of the Prime Video customer

• Develop a thorough understanding of the digital video market segments, and continually assess the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends.

A day in the life
As a Principal Product Manager in the Sye team, you will help define and build the Sye roadmap and customer experience for live video across all platforms and geographies. You will participate in developing the strategy and vision, and develop product roadmaps to execute on that vision. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our customer experience.

About the team
In this role you will be part of the Sye leadership team, reporting to the Head of Sye Streaming Solution. The Sye team is spread across two locations, Stockholm and Seattle and you will be working closely with several Prime Video teams across these locations. The Sye team has a strong start-up culture and we are very passionate about our solution and providing the best live event customer experience out there.

Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
