Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dependable MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality MRI examinations, ensure patient comfort and safety, and support accurate diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans according to physician orders, following established protocols and safety guidelines
  • Prepare and educate patients before the scan, addressing questions and reducing anxiety
  • Position patients accurately to achieve optimal image quality
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnoses
  • Accurately document procedures, patient information, and imaging details
  • Follow all safety procedures, including MRI safety screening and infection control policies
  • Stay current with advancements in MRI technology and clinical best practices

Skills

  • Strong understanding of MRI principles, anatomy, and imaging protocols
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and troubleshooting basic technical issues
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and professional
