Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CMM Programmer located in Guelph, ON. The CMM Programmer will be responsible for operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), conducting inspections, calibrating equipment, performing precise measurements, and ensuring quality control processes are followed. Daily tasks include interpreting blueprints, creating inspection plans, and collaborating with the quality team to maintain adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs)
  • Proficiency in using gauges and performing precise measurements
  • Experience with calibration procedures to maintain equipment accuracy
  • Skills in conducting quality inspections and adhering to quality control standards
  • Attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience in automotive manufacturing or a related industry is an asset
  • Technical diploma or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred
  • Cosmos software knowledge required.
