Details:

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on hydraulic systems in all makes of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, buses, and petroleum tanks.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve mechanical problems.
  • Assemble and install hydraulic systems in heavy-duty equipment.
  • Accurately document all work performed and maintain detailed records.
  • Collaborate with the equipment team to ensure timely completion of installations, repairs and meet customer expectations.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in truck & transport technology.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years hydraulic systems experience in the heavy-duty industry.
  • Knowledge of welding and heavy equipment operations would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated positive team-work attitude and respect for workplace safety.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract is required.
  • Must be physically able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
