Duties
Join a small but dedicated Parks Canada team at Sault Ste. Marie Canal National Historic Site As a Visitor Experience Student, you will help provide a memorable experience to visitors seeking to connect with the history of the region.Duties include:
Greet and orient visitors, respond to questions and provide information about the Sault Ste. Marie Canal National Historic Site and Parks Canada
Collect revenue using a point-of-sale system, interact machine and cash payments
Assist in organizing and delivering special events and programs on-site to the general public
Assist visitor experience staff on various projects as required
Create social media content
Other duties as required

Intent of the process
The intent of this process is to hire student(s) for summer 2026. Student(s) will work between May and the end of August 2026.
