Overview

Are you a licensed 310T, 310S, and/or 421A mechanic with a passion for maintaining and repairing many different types of equipment and vehicles? Join an award-winning Fleet team that is dedicated to sustainability and corporate performance as being ISO 14001 certified with a fleet of over 1500 vehicles.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a team who are responsible for the maintenance, repair, registration, acquisition, and disposal of fleet vehicles and equipment as well as the training and legislative requirements around vehicle licensing, vehicle and equipment inspections, and Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration (CVOR).

Education

  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in current motive power repair, fabrication and operating.
  • Previous work experience in a mechanical area and must be mechanically inclined.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid MTO Class DZ license in good standing or ability to acquire a DZ license within 9 months of hire.
  • Valid Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Trades - 310T - Truck & Coach Technician, 310S - Automotive Service Technician, and/or 421A - Heavy Duty Equipment Technician will be considered.
  • Must possess all hand tools applicable to the trade.
  • Ability to work different shifts and on-call duties as required (Shift Premiums applied on top of base salary).
  • Reliable with a good attitude and employment record.
