Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living assistance. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working with people, especially those with disabilities or special needs. The caregiver will play a vital role in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for those they serve, fostering a nurturing and respectful environment. Prior experience in caregiving, early childhood education, or working with children is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while developing valuable skills in caregiving and support services.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients of all ages
  • Support clients with medication reminders and health monitoring as needed
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks related to client care, including meal preparation and laundry
  • Engage clients in recreational activities, educational programs, or developmental exercises
  • Observe and report any changes in client health or behavior to supervisors or family members
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment that promotes comfort and well-being
  • Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred
  • Background in early childhood education or caregiving roles is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and patience are essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours if necessary
  • Certification or training in caregiving or first aid is advantageous but not required initially; training will be provided as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
