HVAC Project Quotations Specialist

As part of our Head Office Sales team, the HVAC Project Quotations Specialist will be responsible for achieving corporate goals by providing centralized sales and technical support for all branches by preparing HVAC quotations, reviewing plans and specifications, and ensuring accurate product selection. This role acts as a key resource for branch staff and outside sales, delivering consistent pricing, professional proposals, and technical expertise to drive sales growth and profitability across the company.

What you'll do:

• Prepare detailed quotations and project estimates for HVAC equipment and related products.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine product requirements.
• Ensure accuracy in pricing, product selection, and proposal formatting.
• Track and follow up on outstanding quotations with branches and sales representatives.
• Report to and work with HVAC Division Manager to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
• Provide technical support to branch staff and outside sales teams for HVAC product applications and system design.
• Act as a subject matter expert for HVAC products across the company.
• Assist branches with large or complex projects by coordinating with suppliers, purchasing, and logistics.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for pricing, technical data, and availability.
• Stay informed on new product lines, promotions, and industry developments.
• Work with suppliers on special pricing and project-based discounts.
• Enter and maintain quotes, tenders, and project information in company systems.
• Provide regular updates to sales management on project pipeline, success rates, and market activity.
• Assist in developing sales tools, templates, and training materials for branch teams.

Qualifications and key competencies:

• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC estimating, inside sales, or quotations (wholesale distribution experience preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, applications, and products.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency with ERP/quoting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across branches and departments.
• Experience in wholesale distribution, preferably in quotations or project sales role.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook.)

This is a full-time position that may be located anywhere in the Maritimes with preference for individuals located near Eddy Group Ltd locations. Regular business hours are from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, however, occasional work outside these hours should be expected.

Annual base salary will be commensurate with your experience.
